Try This Valentine's Day Sip - Strawberry Rosé Lemon Drop Recipe

A Bright, Romantic Vodka-Based Batch Cocktail Recipe to Share This Weekend

Whether you are planning a cozy date night for two or hosting a spirited Galentine’s bash for the crew, Valentine’s Day is all about connection. Why not add a little surprise and delight with a cocktail suited for any romantic or fun-loving occasion?

Our must-mix for Valentine's Day comes from our friend out of Mary’s (@mixitupwithmary). She’s bringing us a bright, romantic, and dangerously delicious cocktail recipe that captures the spirit of the holiday perfectly.

Meet the Strawberry Rosé Lemon Drop. It’s floral, it’s zesty, and with its blushing pink hue, it’s basically a love letter in a glass. Great for Valentine's Day, but delicious all spring and summer too! Here is how to make it—and why it’s the perfect recipe to share.

A Cocktail Designed for "We," Not "Me"

The problem with most "craft" cocktails is that they keep you stuck behind the bar. You measure, shake, pour, and repeat, while everyone else is laughing on the couch. But Valentine's Day is a team sport.

This recipe is designed to be batched. Instead of making one drink at a time, we’re mixing a round for the whole party (or prepping your refills for the night) in a single go.

To pull this off effortlessly, we use the Highball Shaker. Its 1-liter capacity allows you to mix up to 8 drinks at once, and the vacuum insulation ensures the last pour is just as icy and crisp as the first. Plus, the included UpScale Jigger is marked for larger volumes, so doing the math for a double or triple batch is simple.

The Recipe: Strawberry Rosé Lemon Drops

This recipe yields 4 cocktails—perfect for a small group or a generous pour for a couple. The strawberry puree gives it a lush texture, while the rose syrup adds a floral note that elevates the classic Lemon Drop profile.

Yield: 3 Cocktails
Tools: High Camp Highball Shaker & UpScale Jigger

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Vodka
  • 4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 3 oz Rose Syrup
  • 2 oz Strawberry Puree
  • Ice: Generous scoops
  • Garnish: Heart-shaped strawberries (because we’re feeling festive!)

Instructions:

  1. Build the Batch: Pop the top off your Highball Shaker. Using the UpScale Jigger, measure out your vodka, lemon juice, rose syrup, and strawberry puree directly into the shaker.
  2. Ice It Down: Fill the shaker with ice. Don’t be shy—the capacity can handle it!
  3. Shake to Chill: Secure the leak-proof cap and give it a hard shake (Bonus: Because it's vacuum insulated, your hands stay warm while the drink gets frosty).
  4. Strain & Serve: Remove the cap. The built-in open-sided strainer makes pouring smooth and prevents fruit pulp from clogging the flow. Pour into chilled coupes or martini glasses.
  5. The Final Touch: Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice cut into a heart shape.

Cheers to Connection

The best part of this recipe isn't just the taste; it's the time it gives you back. By shaking up a batch, you can put the tools away, grab your glass, and focus on the company you’re with.

Highball Shaker Pro Tip: Mix 1 round and serve. Then mix another and leave it in the shaker. It'll stay icy cold and won't dilute, plus you'll be ready to pour the second round without ever having to head back to the bar.
