Make this sangria to squeeze every last golden drop out of summer.
The calendar might be flipping toward fall, but we’re still trying to squeeze every drop out of summer—and we’ve found the perfect liquid companion for the mission.
Enter the grapefruit rosé sangria, a vibrant recipe created by Rocky Hazlett, the talented food writer behind Rockin Meals (IG profile), specifically for her Mojave Edition Parkside Flask. This sangria is so refreshing, it’s like summer’s last stand in a glass—a citrusy rebellion against the inevitable pumpkin-spice everything.
This recipe captures a feeling we know all too well: the need for a post-vacation vacation to catch our breath before the daylight starts to wane. The combination of grapefruit juice, guava nectar, fresh citrus, and a splash of white vermouth creates what Rocky calls “desert vacation vibes,” without the sunburn.
The Art of the Transitional Cocktail
In the drinking calendar, we’re caught between the carefree cocktails of summer and the warming spirits of fall. This sangria masterfully bridges that gap. It’s sophisticated enough to move beyond basic beach drinks, bright enough to honor summer’s legacy, and complex enough to satisfy the yearning for something more interesting to ring in the new season. It’s the perfect way to make an ordinary evening feel extraordinary.
The Perfect Partner for Portable Sangria
A great batch sangria deserves a worthy vessel. While a glass pitcher looks great at home, it’s not built for adventure. The Mojave Edition Parkside Flask is the ultimate solution for taking this sangria from your kitchen to the wild. It solves the classic portability problem of wine and cocktails: no breakable glass, no forgotten corkscrew, and no lukewarm drinks.
Here’s why it’s the perfect fit for this recipe:
- All-Day Chill: The flask's vacuum-insulated construction keeps your sangria perfectly chilled for up to 24 hours, meaning you don't need to haul a cooler for a sunset toast.
- Pristine Flavor: The sommelier-grade, electropolished stainless steel interior ensures the sangria tastes exactly as intended, with zero metallic impact on the wine’s delicate flavors.
- Share in Style: This sangria matches the Mojave Edition gorgeously, so your're curating a whole vibe. Because it holds enough to share and includes two magnetically integrated stemless tumblers, You can finally ditch the cheap plastic cups and enjoy an elevated sipping experience that feels just like your favorite at-home stemware.
Whether you’re heading to a rooftop, the backyard, or the beach the Mojave Edition Parkside Flask filled this delicious sangria will deliver that easy-going summertime feeling anytime and anywhere.

- 1 cup grapefruit juice
- ⅔ cup guava nectar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ⅔ cup vermouth bianco (can be substituted for Lillet Blanc)
- ⅓ cup orange liqueur (optional)
- For Garnish: grapefruit slices, orange slices, lemon slices, sliced peaches
Directions:
- Add sliced fruit to the base of a large pitcher.
- Pour in the rosé wine, grapefruit juice, guava juice, orange juice, vermouth bianco, and optional orange liqueur.
