As Ric Ocasek famously sang in his hit song "You Might Think", you might indeed think I'm crazy for writing all these reviews for these High Camp products. Well, I uh... Okay, well if I'm going to quote Ric Ocasek, I guess I need to quote the great Billy Joel from his hit song, "You May Be Right", as well. Touche.

Whatever. I do like to write though, and I do like fine products. It's so crazy that only about a month and a half ago, on my last trip to Waco with the wife, I bought a whiskey bottle carry tote, which will supposedly carry two whiskey bottles. It's canvas and handsome and very cool for the whiskey lover who likes to carry his own spirits with him when he travels. But I don't use the second bottle slot for another bottle. I use it for two stainless steel tumblers so that I can actually drink that whiskey, without having to partake from the bottle. You feel me.

Man. If I'd only known about High Camp flasks before I went down that road, my life would have been a lot easier. See, I'm using old Crown Royal bags to separate the two tumblers so they don't scratch each other up. I'm a man who likes to take really good care of his things. Well, the High Camp Flasks Firelight tumbler set comes with a nice wool carry case. And beyond that, there is a SEPARATOR inside, between the two tumblers. Are these guys freakin' geniuses or what?

So now I'll just take my two stainless steel tumblers I bought before and designate them my new spaware. I don't allow glassware near my pool or spa, and I've been using plastic crap. Well, those just got upgraded. Because my travel set just got upgraded.

I'm also a guy who likes to organize things, and every _thing_ has its own carrier, or place. This set is just so keen it makes me want to celebrate by hitting the road tonight and driving across town with my whiskey bottle carrier JUST SO I CAN PULL THIS SET out of the bag. I would be the guy sitting there waiting for the most amount of people to be walking by so the operation would get the most exposure, too. "Okay, babe, here comes like six dudes. Hand me the whiskey bag."

And when they stop and stare, watching me pull the handsome case out, then exposing the gorgeous copper tumblers, they'll be like, "WHOA". And here's the good news: my wife doesn't drink bourbon. So I would be able to offer one of them a drink from the fine tumbler. And I would then potentially have a new best friend.

It's not that you necessarily need these in your life like I do. I mean, I don't NEED a treasure chest full of pirate coins. But here we are. It's that I would BET you that you can't find a valid reason to say you DON'T need them. Good luck with that. So go ahead and just get it over with. You know you want them. You know you don't not need them. Buy them, so you too can make new best friends.

I have used this wine carafe many times now. In fact I have bought 2 different ones for myself to keep at different locations. I have also bought them for gifts. Many people comment and ask me where I purchased it and of course I have referred them to High Camp Flasks.

I’ve always felt it was heresy to drink bourbon from anything but a proper bourbon glass. These tumblers have thrown that rule out with the garbage. Tried using a yeti or other metal tumblers and just did not feel right. These feel perfect. Highly recommend. I keep them in my vehicle so my brother and I can enjoy a nice bourbon after a day of fly fishing. The flask is on my wish list now 😜
