Paper Plane

Take a whiskey sour and pump it up with some Italian liqueurs.... ta-da, you've got a Paper Plane. Created by Australian bartender Sam Ross while listening to the  British rapper M.I.A's, song "Paper Planes", this equal-parts whiskey cocktail is growing in popularity throughout the U.S

Single/Firelight 750 To-Go

  • 1oz/4oz Bourbon
  • 1oz/4oz Lemon Juice
  • 1oz/4oz Aperol
  • 1oz/4oz Amaro Nonino

Add all of the ingredients into your cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain and serve up in your tumbler

    Wow, what a year it's been! 2020 will certainly go down in the books as a monumental one for all of us. We're sending it off with a classy cocktail and toasting to a New Year with only hope and happy thoughts ahead of us. 

    This drink is also known as the Twentieth Century Cocktail and it's a somewhat forgotten little gem. It's a brilliant cocktail that brings together a few unlikely companions: While you may not think that gin, chocolate, and lemon work well together, this recipe offers a pleasant surprise. The mix of gin and crème de cacao is amazing and the lemon acts as a foil to the sweet liqueur. Adding the elegance of Lillet Blanc brings it all together to create a timeless sour drink.
