This year we could definitely all use a little luck of the Irish. In honor of one our favorite holidays - because who doesn't love an excuse to drink? - we reached out to Ransom Spirits. Their Emerald 1865 is (technically) an American whiskey, but it's renowned for being close to a classic Irish whiskey... and it's well worth searching for. We figured this made it the perfect choice for our Saint Patrick's Day cocktail. Sláinte!

Whether you're trying to be healthier or you are practicing sobriety, sometimes a delicious non-alcoholic drink is just what the doctor ordered. In our search for tasty mocktails we came across Curious Elixirs - pre-mixed drinks that give the satisfying taste and bite of a cocktail without the hangover. Not only do their variety of beverages serve as great substitutes for some of our favorite classic drinks, they also include healthy ingredients like superfoods and adaptogens to give you a better kind of buzz.
We teamed up with Gravity Haus and Breckenridge Distillery to offer a free Cocktail Class! You can WATCH THE VIDEO HERE and follow along as walk you through how to make some delicious (but not overly complicated) cocktails that you can take on your next adventure in your flask.
As cocktail enthusiasts, we are always experimenting with new recipes and mixes. We love finding creative ways to combine our favorite liquors with ingredients that compliment them. We know we aren't the only ones that enjoy the challenge of making a new, delicious drink so we're opening up a contest to get ideas from you!
Wow, what a year it's been! 2020 will certainly go down in the books as a monumental one for all of us. We're sending it off with a classy cocktail and toasting to a New Year with only hope and happy thoughts ahead of us.
This drink is also known as the Twentieth Century Cocktail and it's a somewhat forgotten little gem. It's a brilliant cocktail that brings together a few unlikely companions: While you may not think that gin, chocolate, and lemon work well together, this recipe offers a pleasant surprise. The mix of gin and crème de cacao is amazing and the lemon acts as a foil to the sweet liqueur. Adding the elegance of Lillet Blanc brings it all together to create a timeless sour drink.
This Christmas is a little different than most - maybe you're not spending it with a large group of extended family (whether that's good or bad). But either way, we know a delicious drink can help you unwind while you reflect back on this crazy year. More than ever, we are appreciative to have our good health and good drinks. Happy holidays friends!

Our take on the classic "Kentucky Coffee", but with some flavors of west coast life mixed in. We're opting to use a California whiskey, because the South isn't the only place who knows how to make good bourbon! We're particularly fond of Cutwater Spirits bourbon. It also calls for coffee to pep you up and we recommendDrink Coffee Do Stuff Hell Yeah!blend for a little touch of sweet.Lastly, coconut milk, because Californians love our milk alternatives. This delicious drinkwill warm you up for chilly beach days and it goes down smooth.
If you're a whiskey lover the name "Pappy" will certainly ring a bell - the Van Winkle family has been making whiskey for 4 generations and their bottles are now notoriously sought-after.
This story should have been about the perfect cocktails for a Moab trip in April, then it was Whistler in June, then Downieville in August… This cocktail collaboration with Pivot Cycles was to be my anti-bachelor party - for the guys in our High Camp riding crew who didn’t want the traditional tomfoolery of a bachelor party - who just wanted to go somewhere epic and ride. We envisioned a much different storyline for our first promotion with Pivot, but eventually 2020, as we know it, arrived. We postponed our weddings, got refunds for our flights, and then the fear and uncertainty of our new-normal set in.
In collaboration with Breckenridge Distilling, we tested a bottle of their new Rum Cask Finish Whiskey in one of our go-to cocktails: The Blood & Sand. It calls for Scotch, but this year was all about adapting our appetite to domestic possibilities. The resulting substitution of a smokey scotch for an apple-cinnamon laced whiskey teleported this cocktail into the tiki-verse. After a hot and dusty ride, this cocktail doubled-down on our sentiment that paradise is where you take it.
